2016 In-House Creative Industry Survey

Cella, in partnership with The BOSS Group and Insource, has teamed up for the sixth consecutive year to benchmark the in-house creative community. This report serves as a source of direction for in-house creative leaders providing them with stories on shared challenges, metrics and data, resources and goals across the industry.

More than 400 leaders from in-house creative departments participated in the survey conducted in January 2016. These leaders represent Fortune 1000 companies, as well as middle market and other large companies and span multiple industries, including but not limited to financial services, professional services, healthcare, retail, technology and software, pharmaceuticals and higher education.

Topics in the report cover opportunities in unexpected places, advantages of a dedicated operational role, power of metrics and data, the case for project managers and the value of hiring experienced in-house agency resources.
